Superb in cafés. Heavy slang still trips it up sometimes.

Frequently asked questions
Why not just use my phone's free app?
Free apps don't do offline voice translation, so they stop the moment you lose signal. And this holds a real two-way conversation without you holding a screen at someone's face.
Does it really work offline?
Yes — download your language packs in the free app before you travel and it translates voice with no signal. Get your packs before you fly.
How many languages?
165 both ways, including many regional accents and dialects free apps miss. Switch your pair any time in the app.
Is there a subscription?
No. Buy the device once; the app and the offline packs are free.
How accurate is it?
Excellent for everyday travel. Honest limit: heavy slang and technical language are hard for any translator — for medical or legal matters, use a professional interpreter.
Battery life?
A full day of travel use, and it holds standby in your bag. Charges over USB-C.
Simple enough for my parents?
One button: press, speak, done. It's the most common reason people buy it as a gift.
What's in the box and shipping?
The translator, a USB-C cable and the quick-start card in the ECDF box. Ships in 24–48 hours, typically 5–7 business days in the US.
